Alocasia reginula 'Black Velvet' , is a regal Alocasia, that is special in every way. It is not a large plant, growing only to about 35 cm in height but it is one of the few deep black plants. What makes this 'Jewel' alocasia extra special is the white veins that POP against the leathery black leaves. This plant must be allowed to dry out between waterings, but when you do water, ensure you water deeply. It will do best in medium to bright indirect light, never direct as it could burn the leaves. Not pet friendly so ensure that this one is positioned away from fur babies.
