RE-OPENING FOR THE SEASON ON WEDNESDAY MARCH 10TH! WE CAN'T WAIT TO WELCOME YOU BACK!
Ficus are one of the best varieties of Bonsai trees for indoors. They're very easy to take care of and need little attention. Ficus "Ginseng" varieties have fat trunks, with substantial exposed roots, giving the tree a very exotic and tropical feel. Gensing Grafted Ficus trees embody strength, with grafted branches displaying full clusters of compact foliage and glossy, oval leaves.
This plant likes bright, indirect light and must be placed in an area where there are not drafts, as this could cause leaf drop. Once your Ficus' Ginseng' is situated , avoid moving it as it does not respond well to this.
It appreciates consistent watering, so water when the top inch is dry, and you can elevate the ambient relative humidity by placing on a pebble tray with a bit of water on the bottom. Be careful to ensure that the roots are not sitting in water however.
