Celebrate the beauty of the season by painting one of nature’s most striking flowers. With over a decade of teaching experience and 29 years of artistic painting, professional realistic visual artist Alice Melo brings her expertise to Sun Harvest Greenhouses for a professionally guided and fun watercolour workshop set among beautiful botanical surroundings.
This guided session focuses on “Colourful Poppies,” where you’ll learn how to capture the vibrant colours, delicate petals, light, and graceful movement that make poppies so captivating. The class is intentionally relaxed, supportive, and encouraging, allowing you to explore your creativity while learning simple, effective watercolour techniques.
All skill levels are welcome, and this workshop is especially great for beginners! No previous painting experience is needed, and no drawing is necessary. All guidance is provided so you can focus on painting, learning, and enjoying the process.
Don’t be intimidated, even if you’ve never picked up a paintbrush! You’ll be guided step by step in a friendly and supportive environment, with plenty of encouragement along the way.
